Colton and Leslie met in 2015, her sophomore and his freshman year of high school. Newly moved from Pennsylvania, Colton was the new guy in school and while Leslie thought he was cute, they started to grow a close friendship. They would go to the movies together, school plays, and hangout on the weekends. However, since their friend groups were super close, neither thought that they would ever end up as more than friends.

Fast forward two years to their junior and senior year of high school and they were still... just friends. Until, Colton asked Leslie to go to homecoming with him (as just friends of course). She was so excited but also strangely nervous. Why was she nervous if they were just friends? Could she maybe like this guy? The weekend after homecoming on October 21, 2017, Colton asked Leslie to go to the movies with him. That night they had their first kiss, and the rest is history.

Their love and relationship changed and grew over the next few years and matured into something more serious than just high school puppy love. By the end of their time at Baylor, they both knew they wanted to spend forever with each other and one day get married. On December 18, 2023, Colton proposed to Leslie under a gazebo in Highland Park and solidified forever. They can't wait to tie the knot and are so excited to celebrate with you on November 16, 2024!
